what birth control are you on?any side effects you had?

im not on birth control as of may or june i think? but i was on the pill for like six years (i got put on it to manage my pcos symptoms mainly) n i did try nuvaring for a few months as well. none if the pills i tried neither the ring gave me any bad side effects tho lol my period was lighter n regular, my face didnt break out no matter what i used or ate (now i have to be soooo careful with the products i choose n what i eat, etc), my boobs were bigger. but id say i got lucky cuz most people do have bad side effects

#asks #the only reason i even went on birth control was my ovarian cysts cuz i get so many n one even got to 12 cm so yikes !!#had 2 get a laparoscopy 4 that lol #oh and #my skin is doing so good now though but ugh it toom so much work #i basically wenr on birth control right after accutane as a teen so i didnt know if my acne would come back #n i did get so many hormonal breakouts when i went off the pill but ive managed them out n my skin is CLEAR

"Uugh why are people comparing BG3 to Veilguard?" Because they're both big budget character-focused western RPGs and BG3 is the result of BioWare's direct influence on the genre while BioWare itself is floundering as competitors shove them out of the scene next question.

#now are the comparisons always good critique?? no i don't think so #of all the types of criticism i think comparing one thing to another is on the weaker side #i disagree with the notion that you should only criticise something for what it *did* rather than what it *didn't*#(cuz tbh it's just semantics and framing to me)#but comparing one piece of media to another in order to dunk on one always feels kinda cheap #unless it's adaptation vs source material #BUT people will do it if they're in the same genre and came out around the same time #and in this case i think it makes sense esp since they're direct competitors #well in bioware's case it's clearly attempting to be and failing embarrassingly 80% of the time #and bg3 is a literal sequel to their older games #so it makes sense to be like 'yikes bg3 is doing bioware better than bioware oof'

#I dodged it but like it truly felt like we were pigs raised to slaughter. slaughter being prostitution #every little detail I remember now as adult with basic child psychology education from my teacher background is just. how #I'm not brave enough to say 'jail to mother' (yet) but honestly...#what wrong could come from making a bunch of girls used to lying about their age ignoring being made uncomfortable and disrespected #especially by adults who can make all sorts of rules and claims on their bodies and schedules that are treated as secrets #I had the best experience possible and I am certain I did get pimps approaching me my mother and contractors #and even then I felt very weird that I was often sent to nightclubs that only allowed adults as clients but since I was there to get on #stage as work then I could get in and actually I got instructed to keep on 'vip areas' that typically had a lot more drugs circulating #the heels the clothing and makeup I got put on were also so wrong #I didn't hate it at the time some things made me uncomfortable but I liked dancing I liked fashion and I liked how the fact I was 'making #money' made me more respected in my house and I started getting more independence (that I probably shouldn't have been given either)#but ugh the existing photographs already make me want to throw up and I am glad there aren't photographs of the worse 'dance' jobs I did #very strange little universe #I also feel like I was the only girl that didn't have an eating disorder but mostly cuz I already had problems with alcohol that did the jo #but also I got in much older than the other girls and out pretty fast #crazy that 13 is old but like you genuinely hear of 6 year old who are responsible for a considerable portion of the household income #YIKES #the compliments I got on managing to look older and 'being so mature'. yikes #anything that allows a child to be the one making most of the family's income is a receipt for disaster #.txt
